Heminda Jayaweera

Head of Strategy and Operations

Heminda is a serial innovator who works in the intersections of innovation, strategy and entrepreneurship. He is the head of the strategy and operations at Sri Lanka Technological Campus which Masters Corporate education operating under. He also leads the project of SLYCAN Trust in supporting green start ups, which focuses on supporting youth and other stakeholders in developing a green enterprise, or a social enterprise focusing on addressing global challenges. 

He cofounded Jendo Innovations a medtech startup and Thuru, a GreenTech initiative, and is also a director of Effective Solutions an IoT startup. In early 2017, Heminda started Mora Ventures, University of Moratuwa based startup incubator which has so far launched 25 startups within its first year.

Nuwan Dishan

Head of Strategy and Operations

Nuwan has over 10 years of experience in education, organisational development, talent strategy and marketing management which in the last 8 years he spent designing and delivering high-end corporate learning and change management projects with some of the world's leading institutions and faculties around the world. He currently heads the Corporate Education arm of Sri Lanka Technological Campus. He has worked with faculties from INSEAD, Euromoney, Duke CE, London Business School, ISB, Cambridge & Harvard to design impactful executive education projects.

He was the project Director for Sri Lanka's Largest Strategy Summit, His recent business summits includes Business Beyond Covid Summit and The Sprint Design Thinking Summit. Nuwan heads the HR forum of SLASSCOM and SLASSSCOM Academy operations. He is also the event chair for the People Summit for the last two years.

Shawn Silva

Senior Manager - Stax LLC

Shawn works as a Senior Manager, a team lead of the Business Development Team at Stax LLC, having joined the organization in 2017. He directs client engagements on behalf of major corporations, upper and upper middle market funds and their portfolio companies. Shawn is currently responsible for managing the firm’s U.S. and APAC book of business. He also leads the Global Direct Project Delivery function that includes managing, training and mentoring a team of mid-senior level consultants.

Shawn holds a Bachelors and Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, U.K. He is PMP certified and has a qualification in Business & Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Accountants. He has undertaken several training programs in Singapore, Japan and India. Shawn was part of the team that was deemed the overall winner of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Business Case Awards in 2014.
